Software development is a complicated, not fully understood area. Computer science is a relatively young science, and the Web has an even shorter period of life, causing them not to be as evolved as other disciplines, and therefore susceptible to mistakes or failures.
That is why in ETplex we adopted an agile development methodology paying special attention to reduce business risks by focusing on certain fundamental principles:
- Proper knowledge of the system requirements
- Constant and open communication between team members, wether within the company or with the client's
- Methodic and constant changes control
- Efficient development that enables delivery in time and in quality
Project Stages
After a first contact with the costumer, we focus on the requirement analysis, , collecting the needs and purposes of the system, and all the pertinent information. After this stage we evaluate together with the costumer the ideas and posible solutions to implement in order to move forward with the project, in the project definition stage.
Then we start a development process in stages. The project manager coordinates a development team specially gathered for the project about to start, taking it through controlled development iterations, with clear and defined objectives, which allow partial deliveries in short periods of time, and corrections and appropriate adjustments on each of them.
This certainly reduces the overall development time, increases the quality of the final product and also reduces the bugs on it.
